1. Service purpose

The website birth-certificate.org provides a private documentation management and guidance service to request the Ireland birth certificate. We are not a public entity nor an official government website; we act as an independent intermediary to help users correctly prepare and submit their request to the relevant authorities.

2. Authorisation

The user authorises birth-certificate.org to act on their behalf to carry out the necessary steps related to the birth-certificate request, including data review, document preparation, and submission where applicable.

3. Payment & pricing

The user agrees to pay:

• Service fee: €85 (charged in euros).
• Any official fees or charges required by the competent authorities (if applicable).

Important: Some banks may apply transaction commissions. birth-certificate.org is not responsible for such third-party charges.

4. Refund policy

• No refunds for voluntary withdrawal or for user-provided data errors.
• No refunds once the certificate has been issued and sent to the user.
• If the requested record is not available in official systems and requires manual processing by the registry, no refund will be issued.
• A refund will only be considered if, after verification with reliable documentary evidence, it is confirmed that the certificate cannot be obtained by any official means.

5. Scope of service

Our work includes:

• Complete advice and guidance on requirements and forms.
• Review and preparation of the documentation provided by the user.
• Management and/or submission of the request on behalf of the user, where applicable.

We do not guarantee issuance of the certificate; approval and delivery depend exclusively on the competent authorities.

6. Site use

The user agrees to use the site lawfully and responsibly. Any fraudulent or harmful use to third parties is prohibited.

7. Changes

birth-certificate.org reserves the right to modify these terms, prices and conditions without prior notice. The applicable conditions will be those in force at the time of contracting.

8. Intellectual property

The site contents (texts, images, logos, design) are owned by their authors or by birth-certificate.org. Use without express authorisation is not permitted.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the applicable law. Any dispute will be resolved by the competent courts at the domicile of the site owner.
